Kwatra Lab
Keratinocyte retrieval, dermatology samples & wet-lab fundamentals
The Kwatra Lab was my first cell-focused research setting. I worked around patient-derived dermatology samples, keratinocyte retrieval protocols, sterile handling, and cell-count readouts that turned a sample-processing workflow into usable experimental material.

What I Did
Sample ProcessingWorked with patient-derived keratinocyte samples using a retrieval protocol.
Viability ChecksRecorded trypan-blue-corrected concentration and live/dead cell readouts.
Wet-Lab PracticeBuilt habits around sterile handling, timing, sequencing, and documentation.
Cell Retrieval Readouts
Protocol Viewer
The retrieval protocol was the main working document for this introductory wet-lab experience.
